DealBoard Command

1. Overview

DealBoard Command is a Chrome extension designed to help sales professionals manage their daily follow-up pipeline by connecting to a Google Sheets spreadsheet and composing emails via Gmail.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user. By installing and using DealBoard Command, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

2. Data We Access

Google Sheets Data

The Extension reads data from a Google Sheets spreadsheet that you explicitly provide by entering its URL. This data includes sales deal information such as customer names, estimate IDs, prices, statuses, and salesperson names.

This data is accessed solely to display your pipeline within the Extension sidebar. It is never transmitted to any third-party server other than the Google Apps Script endpoint you have configured.

Gmail

The Extension requests permission to interact with Gmail for the sole purpose of opening a compose window and pre-filling email draft content based on deal information you choose to share. The Extension does not read, store, or transmit any of your existing emails or inbox data.

Email drafts are opened only when you explicitly click the compose action within the Extension.

Local Storage

The Extension stores the following data locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API:

• Your Google Sheet ID (to remember your configured spreadsheet)
• Your selected salesperson name (to remember your last session)

This data never leaves your browser and is not shared with any external parties.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

DealBoard Command does not:

• Collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers
• Read, access, or store your Gmail messages or contacts
• Track your browsing activity or behavior
• Use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools of any kind
• Share any data with third parties
• Sell data of any kind

4. Permissions Explained

Used to save your Sheet ID and selected salesperson locally in your browser. No data is sent externally.

Used to display the DealBoard interface in Chrome's side panel.

Used to detect and focus your Gmail tab when opening a compose window.

Used to inject the compose functionality into Gmail when you initiate an email action. This script only runs when you explicitly trigger an email action from within the Extension.

These permissions allow the Extension to interact with Gmail compose windows and fetch data from your Google Apps Script endpoint. No data is intercepted, stored, or shared beyond what is needed to display your pipeline.

5. Data Security

All data accessed by DealBoard Command remains within your browser or your own Google account infrastructure. The Extension communicates only with:

• Your own Google Apps Script deployment (which you control)
• Google's Gmail interface (to open compose windows)

No data is routed through any servers owned or operated by the developer.

6. Children's Privacy

DealBoard Command is intended for professional use by adults. The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from children.

7. International Users

DealBoard Command is available internationally. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by the developer, no cross-border data transfers occur.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to provide, correct, or delete — but you may contact us at any time with questions.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
